Ruby Tuesday

Because who doesn’t like Mick Jagger?

Welcome! Bienvenidos! Irasshaimase! Willkommen! And those are the only languages in which I can say “welcome”! haha Anyways, it is (Ruby) Tuesday! Lots of things accomplished today! Mom and I did some back-to-school shopping, because apparently that never ends really. The list continues to get longer as our incomes continue to decrease. Well done, government, for stressing the importance of attaining some sort of education and thank you, Wal-Mart, for allowing us to do it in style.

Progress on Packing:
I’m doing pretty well. It’s a slow process, but I’ll get there eventually. I mean, hopefully I’ll be packed before Sunday..*Sigh* That’s the dream. haha :] OH! Two pieces of good news on the packing-front: 1) My clothes are now laundered!! 2) I was able to use “laundered” in a sentence! I know. I’m pretty cool. Also, I never really realized how much clothing I actually bring with me to Spain, but some people have told me that I pack a lot of clothes. Today, I decided that I should pack winter clothes because those are important, right? So I made a pile of my faux-blazers, a sweater, a jacket, and a puffy vest and noticed that they probably will weigh more than me. So here’s comes the fun part: What NOT to bring? Time to go through the Space Bags I’ve already packed and make sure that I’m actually going to use the clothing I’ve picked out. Time to be a guy and pack versatile outfits rather than individual ones. Yes, readers, I think about these things. Let the pre-adventures begin!

“Youkoso” would actually be closer to the kind of “welcome” you're looking for…

Thanks Marnia! Good to know! Irasshaimase is for welcoming people in business, right? Like shops and things?
